How many panels do I need?▾
For a noticeable improvement, start with 6–12 panels above your main activity area. A full room treatment depends on ceiling size, but most home offices and studios see clear results from 1–2 packs. Run the clap test as you add panels to find your sweet spot.
Will they damage my ceiling when removed?▾
The self-adhesive is designed to hold firmly but remove cleanly from most painted surfaces. For freshly painted or delicate ceilings, use additional mounting strips for extra security and easier removal. No holes, no nails.
What ceiling surfaces do these work on?▾
Drywall, plywood, MDF, painted concrete, and most hard flat surfaces. The adhesive bonds best to smooth, clean, dry surfaces. Give your ceiling a quick wipe before installing for maximum hold.
Is this the same as soundproofing?▾
No — and it's important to know the difference. Soundproofing blocks sound from entering or leaving a room (requires mass, seals, construction). Acoustic treatment (what these panels do) controls how sound behaves inside the room — reducing echo, reverb, and flutter. Most home recording and office clarity problems are acoustic treatment problems, not soundproofing problems.
