The Arrowzoom™ Acoustic Fabric Wrapped Panels are our General All-Around, All-Purpose Acoustic Panels. This Acoustic Panel Model is our Most Popular and Best Selling panel due to its Excellent Acoustic Performance, Limitless Design Options and Affordability.
By deadening unwanted sound using absorption panels, you can make other sounds much clearer. This leads to improved intelligibility of speech in lecture rooms or performance venues. It can also help in retail and dining environments, (so time isn’t wasted trying to catch what people are saying.)
Cutting out unwanted noise can help to reduce stress levels too. If people can clearly hear what’s being said, they’re less likely to become irritated and frustrated by their inability to understand what’s going on.
If you walk into an office or restaurant and are hit by a wall of noise, it can be off-putting to say the least. Cutting noise makes for a more welcoming and pleasant environment. Staff will be able to hear customer requests clearly, and customers will be able to carry on conversations at comfortable levels. This can have benefits in that customers are likely to stay for longer and in consequence spend more money.
In offices, a space without excess noise can make for greater productivity. It can be easier for staff to hear customers on the phone and make conference rooms places that can be used without worries about confidential information leaking out.
Sometimes, you need to gain access to a specific area. Instead of installing multiple walls and doorways, you can simply use strip door curtains. These will provide the privacy desired from room to room, yet still allow forklifts or other machinery to enter as needed.
In spaces where there’s a lot of noisy equipment, such as workshops or even computer server rooms, cutting noise can enhance workplace safety too. It makes it easy for employees to communicate clearly and helps to eliminate distractions that can lead to accidents.
Acoustic panels are fire-retardant. It stops fire from spreading and reduces its intensity.
STC (Sound Transmission Class), is a numerical rating of how effective a material is at blocking the transmission of sound through itself. This rating generally applies to hard materials like rubberized sound barriers, concrete, brick and drywall but also applies to a much lesser degree to softer materials like mineral fiber (although it isn’t tested by itself; it’s tested as part of a wall system to verify its effectiveness).
Follow the instruction in this video to extract the acoustic foam
Lay the Studio Foam out for your specific application. Keep in mind that you want the foam evenly distributed throughout the room.
Measure designated areas that need to be field cut on the foam and make the appropriate cuts (examples would be around beams, doorways, or if a short piece is needed). After all the pieces have been field cut, put the material back in the appropriate position on the wall or ceiling and lightly mark the bottom and side of where each piece will be lightly with a pencil to ensure straight application.
There are two ways to put the acoustic foams on the designated wall.
Method 1: Use Arrowzoom Sticky Double Sided Tape. Each foam should use 4 tapes. One for each corner. Once you peel off the sticker, the Acoustic foam should easily stick to the surface of your choice.
Method 2: Glue each piece individually with PL Polyurethane Construction Adhesive. Create a perimeter around the outside of the material staying 1 1/2" away from the edge. Create an X pattern across the center of the material.
(Note: Due to Shipping Reason, we do not sell Glue)
Line up the materials on marked lines from Step 3 and press firmly against the material compressing the foam. Repeat step for remaining pieces of foam.

Son put these up in his room to minimize sound for his recordings and they do seem to help. He says they have help minimize outside sounds so he is not recording them.
Using acoustical treatments is an important part of setting up a listening room or a studio, but it seems that many people don't look into how to go about doing it. There's a LOT of great information on the web, and I suggest getting to know how it works. The panels I'm using are relatively small, exactly the size stated in the product listing so there's no surprise there. They're perfect for "spot treating" problem reflections, which often means doing some trial and error to find the sweet spot.
Very nice styled sound panel and well made. Awesome for the money!
These boards are definitely helpful. I will definitely be getting more!
I am very pleased with how this product absorbs sound. I immediately noticed a difference.
