Will it stop bass / low frequencies?+

It blocks low end better than the original kit thanks to the denser foam, but no door treatment alone fully blocks subwoofer-range bass. Combine with the weather strip (KK1154) for best results.

Does it smell?+

Some customers notice a mild new-foam odor on day one. It dissipates within 24 to 48 hours of airing out. It is not toxic, the foam is E1/B1 certified.

Will the adhesive damage my door?+

No. Designed to peel cleanly off painted, laminate, and wood doors. We recommend a small spot test on the bottom edge first.

Can I take it with me when I move?+

Yes, though re-application strength drops after removal. Plan to reuse it once.

How is this different from the original Door Kit?+

Great Product!

We have a door that separates our apartment from the upstairs that we rent out. After installing the Door Kit PRO, I haven’t heard a peep from these people! I’ve had to place my ear to the door to make sure they’re even there, only to hear that they are speaking at full volume and I never knew from a few feet away. This isn’t going to completely silence a home theater or something like that, but it does exactly what I need it to do.

Worked great for working from home

I got these for my office while working from home for a few reasons. I live in an apartment building, I worked early in the morning (day started before 5am), I worked in the accessibility department often requiring me to speak loud for customers. while my husband is sleeping on the other room and often wakes up while I'm taking with the customer and complain about the noise. After I got this we notice the noise comming in was reduce. Highly recommended to all people that is working from home.

The tiles are sound dampening, easy to install and look great. There is a slight odor when first unwrapped but dissipates with fresh air.
