Preparing the Door for a Fresh Start
Before installing her new panels, Gift of Gab removed her old worn out door treatment. This required scraping away stubborn liquid nail adhesive, sanding the door lightly for improved adhesion, and giving the surface a quick cleaning. These steps help ensure that Arrowzoom panels attach securely and perform at their highest level.
Installation Made Simple and Creator Friendly
Gift of Gab pointed out how simple installation was from beginning to end. Our panels are designed for creators of all experience levels.
Her process was straightforward:

Cutting the panels slightly to fit her door

Scoring them with a carpet knife or box cutter

Peeling off the adhesive backing

Pressing each panel firmly for five to ten seconds
The panels cut cleanly and adhere smoothly, allowing for easy customization.
A Kit Designed to Fit Real Studio Doors
Our door kits come in two sizes, and the smaller kit provided more than enough coverage for her studio door. Each kit also includes weather stripping to help seal sound gaps around the door.
Her newly treated door already had an excellent seal, so adding the weather stripping would have made it too tight. She decided to save it for another project. We love seeing creators adapt our products in the way that best suits their individual setup.
