Hexagon acoustic panels with isometric-line grooves — oakwood face, foam core, NRC 0.64. Tiles into a honeycomb wall that looks like architecture, not a foam patch. M1 fire-rated for commercial rooms.

Why Diffuse PRO Isometric Lines Hexagon is different

  • Hexagon shape tiles into a honeycomb wall — no grid lines, no seams that scream "acoustic foam".
  • Isometric-line grooves direct the scatter — parallel grooves diffuse reflections along a clean visual axis.
  • Published NRC 0.64 — absorbs ~64% of mid/high-frequency sound energy on contact.
  • Scattering 200 Hz – 5 kHz — breaks up flutter echo across the full speech and music range.
  • M1 fire-rated (Euroclass E) — meets commercial install requirements in offices, restaurants, auditoriums.
  • 10 oakwood finishes — match modern, minimalist, or warm interiors without compromise.

How it works — absorption + diffusion in one hex tile

ABSORPTION

Foam core kills echo

The M1 fire-class foam behind the oakwood face captures mid- and high-frequency energy, cutting reverb and room muddiness on contact.

DIFFUSION

Isometric grooves scatter reflections

The parallel grooves on the oakwood face break incoming sound into directional, scattered reflections from 200 Hz to 5 kHz — so the room stays lively without becoming flat or dead.

Square foam panels look gridlike on a wall. Pure wood diffusers only scatter and don't absorb. The hex shape tiles seamlessly into a honeycomb — and the isometric grooves do real acoustic work while the panel looks like an architectural feature.

Acoustic performance — what the numbers mean

Diffuse PRO Hexagon is a combination absorber + diffuser. It reduces echo inside a room and breaks up flutter reflections. It does not block sound transmission through a wall.

Metric Value What it means
NRC 0.64 Absorbs ~64% of mid/high-frequency sound energy on contact — high for a slim 0.4 in / 1 cm face panel
Scattering range 200 Hz – 5 kHz Isometric grooves break up flutter across the full speech and music range
Fire class M1 / Euroclass E Meets commercial-install fire requirements in most EU and Asian markets
STC Not rated STC measures wall blocking. For noise transmission between rooms, use mass — not absorption.

NRC 0.64 is the published overall figure for the foam-and-veneer assembly. Lab-measured.

What's in the box

  • 6, 12, or 24 hexagon panels (selected pack size)
  • 11.8 × 10.2 × 0.4 in / 30 × 26 × 1 cm each
  • Selected oakwood / MDF finish
  • Install guide (mounting hardware sold separately)

Install in 4 steps

1

Plan the honeycomb layout

Lay panels on the floor in your hex pattern. Photograph it. Tight honeycomb, scattered cluster, or feature column — your call. The grooves can run horizontal, vertical, or mixed.

2

Choose your mount

Construction adhesive for permanent installs. Heavy-duty Command strips for rental-friendly mounting. The slim 0.4 in / 1 cm profile keeps panels flush to the wall.

3

Mount the panels

Press firmly for 30 seconds. Start with the first hex, then add neighbors edge-to-edge. Use a level on the first row — every panel after that aligns off it.

4

Treat first-reflection points

For studios and listening rooms, cluster panels at the first-reflection points on side walls and behind the listening position. Honeycomb tiling makes coverage scale cleanly.

Made for

Modern recording & podcast studiosClean isometric pattern reads as design intent on camera — not a foam patchwork.
Minimalist offices & meeting roomsCuts video-call echo while the honeycomb wall doubles as a brand-grade feature.
Restaurants & design-led cafésM1 fire class meets commercial code. Oakwood hex pattern fits warm, architectural interiors.
Home theaters & listening roomsDirectional groove scatter cleans dialogue and stereo image without going dead.

Frequently asked questions

Will this block noise from my neighbor or the street?
No. Diffuse PRO Hexagon is an absorber + diffuser. It reduces echo and breaks up reflections inside a room. Blocking noise through a wall requires mass — extra drywall, mass-loaded vinyl, or a sealed door. Anyone selling a slim hex panel as "soundproofing" is misleading you.
Why hexagon instead of squares?
Hexagons tile edge-to-edge with no four-way grid intersections, so the wall reads as a continuous honeycomb instead of a checkerboard. Visually it looks like architecture; acoustically the irregular tile edge breaks up reflections better than a flat square grid.
What do the isometric-line grooves actually do?
The parallel grooves on the oakwood face act as directional diffusers — they scatter sound along the groove axis from 200 Hz to 5 kHz. Mix horizontal and vertical orientations across the wall to scatter in multiple directions for a fully diffused field.
How many panels do I need?
For most home studios and offices, cover 20–30% of reflective wall area. Rough guide: small booth or office (8 × 10 ft / 2.4 × 3 m) → 6–12 panels. Mid-size studio or restaurant section → 12–24 panels. Large feature wall or auditorium → 24+ panels (multiple packs).
Is the wood face real oak?
The face is laminated MDF with oakwood veneer — same construction used in commercial acoustic panels and high-end furniture. Solid oak in a slim hex shape would crack and cost 5× more. Veneer gives the real oak look at a usable weight and price.
Can I install this myself? What about rentals?
Yes. For permanent installs, construction adhesive or screws into wall anchors. For rentals, heavy-duty 3M Command strips rated for the panel weight, or Z-clip brackets that lift on and off. Mounting hardware is sold separately so you can match the wall.
Is this safe for commercial spaces — restaurants, offices, schools?
Yes. The panel is M1 fire-rated (Euroclass E), which meets commercial fire-safety code in most EU and Asian markets. Always confirm specific local requirements with your fire marshal or architect before installing in public assembly spaces.
Will it work on brick, concrete, or textured walls?
Yes — with the right hardware. Use masonry anchors and screws for brick and concrete. For heavily textured drywall, construction adhesive bonds better than tape-based mounting. The panels themselves are rigid and flat, so the wall surface determines the mount.
How long does shipping take?
Handling 1–2 business days, then standard shipping 7–14 days to the US and most countries (free worldwide on orders $99+). Express shipping is available at checkout — 7 days or less to most destinations.
What's your return policy?
100-day guarantee. If the panels don't deliver the acoustic or visual result you expected, contact support within 100 days for a full refund. Bulk B2B / contractor orders (100+ panels) follow a separate policy — contact us before placing the order.
How do I clean the oakwood face?
Dry microfiber cloth for dust along the grooves. Slightly damp cloth (water only, well-wrung) for the rare smudge. No solvents, no furniture polish, no spraying — the veneer and the foam core both prefer dry treatment.

What's the difference between impact and airborne noise? 🔊

1. Airborne Noise

  • This travels through the air, like conversations, TV sounds, or barking dogs. When sound waves hit a building, they cause it to vibrate, transmitting through the structure.

2. Impact Noise

  • This results from physical impacts on buildings, such as footsteps, slamming doors, or moving furniture. Impact noise can be harder to isolate, as these vibrations are stronger and travel further through dense materials.

What are decibels? 📏

Decibels are measured logarithmically (not as a percentage) . This means that every increase of 10dB on the scale is a tenfold increase in sound pressure level (SPL) . Near silence is 0dB 🤫, while a sound at 10dB is ten times louder!

  • 30-40 dB = Soft music, whisper 🎶
  • 60-80 dB = Office noise, traffic 🚗
  • 85-100 dB (HARMFUL) = Subway, shouted convo, chainsaw ⚠️
  • 100-140 dB (DANGEROUS) = Chainsaw, loud concert, racing, shooting range 🚨
