Pianos in particular are capable of emitting sounds at very low frequencies (as low as 30 Hz), which can be transmitted down the legs to the floor in the form of vibration and then radiate into the apartment below as sound pressure.
Using the Anti-Vibration Mats, the piano is now decoupled from the floor, virtually eliminating the vibrations generated by playing the piano from entering the building. This makes it very neighbour friendly.

It's impossible to install by myself. I had to ask my roommate to help. Be prepare it takes longer time if you want the best experience. I literally had to move my piano and then put the mat down, then move it back where it belong.
