Home studio wall covered in a pattern of slim acoustic panels in several colors beside a desk and microphone

Calm the echo on your walls, panel by panel.

Self-adhesive polyester acoustic panels that cut echo and flutter in studios, offices and gaming rooms. Peel, press, done.

Bare walls bounce sound back at your microphone and your ears. These 0.8 in (2 cm) polyester panels soak up the reflections, so voices come out clearer on mics, calls and streams. They improve how a room sounds, not how much sound passes through a wall.

Install in 4 steps

Easy as peel, stick, done: peeling the backing, pressing a panel onto the wall, and a finished wall of acoustic panels
1
Clean the wall
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp microfiber cloth. No dust, no grease.
2
Plan the layout
Lay the panels on the floor first. A checker pattern beats full coverage.
3
Peel and press
Peel the backing, align and press firmly for 10 seconds per panel.
4
Roll the edges
Run a credit card or roller along the edges to lock the adhesive.

Pro tip: the panels cut cleanly with scissors or a utility knife. No fraying, no ruler needed. Trim to fit corners, outlets and odd shapes.
Surface check: the adhesive grips smooth, clean, painted walls. On textured, wallpapered or unfinished surfaces use double-sided mounting tape or hook-and-loop strips instead.

How much do I need?

You do not need to cover every inch. Treat 30 to 50% of the wall where sound bounces most, such as the wall behind your desk and the wall facing your mic or speakers.

Each panel is about 1 sq ft (0.09 m²). Packs of 12, 24 and 48 cover 11.6, 23.2 and 46.5 sq ft.

Honest note: panels absorb sound inside the room. They do not block sound through a wall. For that you need mass, such as mass-loaded vinyl or double drywall.
SpacePanels to start with
Mic booth wall (4 x 4 ft)12 panels.
Home office desk wall (10 x 8 ft)24 to 48 panels.
Full room (12 x 12 ft)48 panels, then add more if echo remains.

Frequently asked

Will this stop noise from the apartment next door?+
No. These are absorption panels. They reduce echo and reverb inside your room, not sound passing through walls. To block sound between rooms you need mass, such as mass-loaded vinyl, double drywall or a full wall assembly.
How is this different from the Door Kit PRO?+
The Door Kit PRO is built to treat a door. The Wall Kit PRO is built for walls: thin, light and optimized for coverage. They work together. Treat the door for leaks and the walls for echo.
Can I use these without the Door Kit PRO?+
Yes. They work as standalone wall panels in any room.
How many panels do I need?+
Cover 30 to 50% of the wall where sound bounces most. For a mic booth, 12 panels is a good start. For a home office, 24 to 48 on the wall behind your desk and the wall facing your mic.
Will the adhesive damage my paint?+
On smooth, painted drywall in good condition, the panels can be removed with care, but they may pull paint if it is old or thin. On textured, wallpapered or unfinished walls the adhesive will not grip. Use double-sided mounting tape or hook-and-loop strips there.
Can I paint or dye the panels?+
No. Paint or dye clogs the polyester fibers and kills the absorption. Choose your color when you order.
Are they fire-rated?+
We do not publish a fire rating for these panels. If you need one for a commercial install such as an office, school or professional studio, contact us before you order and check your local fire code.
Can I cut them to fit?+
Yes. Use scissors or a utility knife. Polyester cuts cleanly without fraying.
What if my room still sounds bad after installing?+
Try three things. Raise coverage toward 50%. Focus on the reflection points, such as the wall your speakers face and the wall behind your desk. Add bass traps in the corners, since wall panels cannot fix low-frequency buildup. If you are still unhappy, the 100-day guarantee covers a full refund.
Is there a smell when the box arrives?+
A light factory smell that airs out within 24 to 48 hours. Leave the panels in a ventilated room overnight.
How long does shipping take?+
Orders ship in 1 to 2 business days. Standard delivery is about 1 to 2 weeks and Express is 1 week or less. Shipping is free on orders over $99 USD.
What is the return policy?+
100-Day Quiet Room Guarantee. If the panels do not solve your echo, send them back for a refund. Panels must be in resalable condition, so do a small test with a few panels first.

Note: Actual color may slightly differ depending on monitor settings.

1. Airborne Noise

  • This travels through the air, like conversations, TV sounds, or barking dogs. When sound waves hit a building, they cause it to vibrate, transmitting through the structure.

2. Impact Noise

  • This results from physical impacts on buildings, such as footsteps, slamming doors, or moving furniture. Impact noise can be harder to isolate, as these vibrations are stronger and travel further through dense materials.

Decibels are measured logarithmically (not as a percentage) . This means that every increase of 10dB on the scale is a tenfold increase in sound pressure level (SPL) . Near silence is 0dB 🤫, while a sound at 10dB is ten times louder!

  • 30-40 dB = Soft music, whisper 🎶
  • 60-80 dB = Office noise, traffic 🚗
  • 85-100 dB (HARMFUL) = Subway, shouted convo, chainsaw ⚠️
  • 100-140 dB (DANGEROUS) = Chainsaw, loud concert, racing, shooting range 🚨
