One thing worth knowing before you order: this listing is for individual panels, not a full kit. A standard residential condenser typically needs 3–4 panels to enclose three sides. How the two-face panel works
1. Face it the right way
The smooth, glossy face goes outward toward the weather. The quilted, padded face goes inward toward the compressor and fan.
2. Lock panels edge-to-edge
Two hook-and-loop strips — one along the top, one along a side — join neighboring panels with no gap, so you can build a wall to whatever length your unit needs.
3. Secure to the frame
Reinforced grommets at all four corners let you cable-tie or wire the joined panels to a chain-link fence, wood frame, or enclosure, holding steady through wind and storms.

Cut the ties, unhook the velcro, pull the panels down for AC maintenance or filter changes, then put them right back up in seconds.

Both. The grommets and cable-tie mounting work on chain-link, wood frames, and most welded enclosures. For better sound reduction, back the panels against a solid surface like a fence or wall rather than open air.
