The only acoustic panel that absorbs and diffuses in one piece — geometric oakwood face, studio-grade foam core. Decor-grade looks, NRC 0.64 performance, M1 fire-rated for commercial rooms.
Why Diffuse PRO is different
- Absorber + diffuser in one panel — most acoustic panels do only one job. This one does both.
- Geometric oakwood lamination — looks like designer wall art, performs like a studio treatment.
- Published NRC 0.64 — absorbs ~64% of mid/high-frequency sound energy on contact.
- Scattering 200 Hz – 5 kHz — breaks up flutter echo across the full speech and music range.
- M1 fire-rated (Euroclass E) — meets commercial install requirements in offices, restaurants, auditoriums.
- 10 wood finishes — match the room you actually live or work in.
How it works — two acoustic jobs, one panel
ABSORPTION
Foam core kills echo
The M1 fire-class foam behind the wood face captures mid- and high-frequency energy, cutting reverb and room muddiness on contact.
DIFFUSION
Geometric oakwood scatters reflections
The 3D wood face breaks incoming sound into smaller, scattered reflections from 200 Hz to 5 kHz — so the room stays lively without becoming flat or dead.
Standard foam panels only absorb. Pure diffusers only scatter. Diffuse PRO does both at once — which is why it works in rooms where pure absorption would feel too "dead" (live recording rooms, listening rooms, restaurants, auditoriums).

Acoustic performance — what the numbers mean
Diffuse PRO is a combination absorber + diffuser. It reduces echo inside a room and breaks up flutter reflections. It does not block sound transmission through a wall.
| Metric | Value | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| NRC | 0.64 | Absorbs ~64% of mid/high-frequency sound energy on contact — high for a 2 in / 5 cm panel |
| Scattering range | 200 Hz – 5 kHz | Breaks up flutter echo across the full speech and music range |
| Fire class | M1 / Euroclass E | Meets commercial-install fire requirements in most EU and Asian markets |
| STC | Not rated | STC measures wall blocking. For noise transmission between rooms, use mass — not absorption. |
NRC 0.64 is the published overall figure for the foam-and-veneer assembly. Lab-measured.
What's in the box
- 6, 12, or 24 Diffuse PRO panels (selected pack size)
- 11.5 × 11.5 × 2 in / 29 × 29 × 5 cm each
- Selected oakwood / MDF finish
- Install guide (mounting hardware sold separately)
Install in 4 steps
1
Plan the layout
Lay panels on the floor. Photograph the layout before mounting. Grid, staggered, or feature-wall — your call.
2
Choose your mount
Construction adhesive for permanent installs. Heavy-duty Command strips or Z-clips for rental-friendly mounting.
3
Mount the panels
Press firmly for 30 seconds. Start at the top of the layout and work down. Use a level for grid alignment.
4
Treat first-reflection points
For studios and listening rooms, prioritize panels at the first-reflection points on side walls and behind the listening position.

Frequently asked questions
Will this block noise from my neighbor or the street?
No. Diffuse PRO is an absorber + diffuser. It reduces echo and breaks up reflections inside a room. Blocking noise through a wall requires mass — extra drywall, mass-loaded vinyl, or a sealed door. Anyone selling a 2-inch foam panel as "soundproofing" is misleading you.
What's the real difference between absorption and diffusion?
Absorption removes sound energy (kills echo). Diffusion scatters it (keeps the room feeling alive without flutter). Pure absorption rooms feel dead and lifeless. Pure diffusion rooms still have reverb. Diffuse PRO does both — which is why it works in studios, restaurants, and listening rooms.
How many panels do I need?
For most home studios and offices, cover 20–30% of reflective wall area. Rough guide: small booth or office (8 × 10 ft / 2.4 × 3 m) → 6–12 panels. Mid-size studio or restaurant section → 12–24 panels. Auditorium or large room → 24+ panels (multiple packs).
Is the wood face real oak?
The face is laminated MDF with oakwood veneer — same construction used in commercial acoustic panels and high-end furniture. Solid oak at this geometric thickness would crack and cost 5× more. Veneer gives the same look at a usable weight and price.
Can I install this myself? What about rentals?
Yes. For permanent installs, construction adhesive or screws into wall anchors. For rentals, heavy-duty 3M Command strips rated for 4–5 lb each panel, or Z-clip brackets that lift on and off. Mounting hardware is sold separately so you can match the wall.
Is this safe for commercial spaces — restaurants, offices, schools?
Yes. The panel is M1 fire-rated (Euroclass E), which meets commercial fire-safety code in most EU and Asian markets. Always confirm specific local requirements with your fire marshal or architect before installing in public assembly spaces.
Will it work on brick, concrete, or textured walls?
Yes — with the right hardware. Use masonry anchors and screws for brick and concrete. For heavily textured drywall, construction adhesive bonds better than tape-based mounting. The panels themselves are rigid and flat, so the wall surface determines the mount.
How long does shipping take?
Handling 1–2 business days, then standard shipping 7–14 days to the US and most countries (free worldwide on orders $99+). Express shipping is available at checkout — 7 days or less to most destinations.
What's your return policy?
100-day guarantee. If the panels don't deliver the acoustic or visual result you expected, contact support within 100 days for a full refund. Bulk B2B / contractor orders (100+ panels) follow a separate policy — contact us before placing the order.
How do I clean the wood face?
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. Slightly damp cloth (water only, well-wrung) for the rare smudge. No solvents, no furniture polish, no spraying — the veneer and the foam core both prefer dry treatment.
